BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN REHAB AND PERFORMANCE
In the Core Sports Medicine is focused on guiding athletes through injury rehabilitation as well as helping athletes move better and reduce the risk of injury. Although ITC sports performance training focuses on reducing injuries, we understand when athletes are pushing towards peak performance, injuries do happen. Our goal is to partner along side athletes building them back through rehab to performance. We want to help keep athletes at the top of their game and performing to their maximum potential.
WHAT SETS US APART FROM OTHER PHYSICAL THERAPY SETTINGS?
- We are focused on the culture of sports rehab and performance
- Unlike traditional physical therapy we are in a sports environment where athletes minds can remain sharp and sports focused
- We are involved in training athletes on a daily basis and we understand the intricacies of each individual athlete and the demands of their sport
- We have integrated strategies from ITC Sports Performance into PT
- Our goal is not only to return athletes to daily activities but return to peak performance
- We are not just focused on one body part but the athlete as a whole
- We offer unique wellness and recovery services
Whether you were recently injured, or you have been injured for some time, In the Core Sports Medicine wants to be there to help guide you in your journey to recovery. A physical therapy evaluation consists of evaluating, treating, and developing a plan of care to help you accomplish your goals.
We use a variety of the most recent evidence based techniques to help athletes rehabilitate from injury. We emphasize a hands-on approach combined with biomechanical analysis and movement correction. Our focus is on designing a treatment plan catered to the individual needs of each athlete.
- Dry Needling
- Blood Flow Restriction
- Corrective Exercise
- Manual Therapy
- Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
- Movement Analysis and Correction
Wellness and Recovery
With athletes participating in multiple sports all year long, overtraining is an unfortunate result. Wellness and recovery is essential to keeping athletes healthy and able to perform. Our wellness and recovery sessions include all our typical treatments designed to optimize movement and help your body recover and be ready to compete.
Post-Op Physical Therapy/Performance
This package is designed to provide athletes who are recovering from surgery everything they need for success. The focus is on returning from surgery mentally and physically strong and ready to perform. Athletes will be guided by a sports minded physical therapist through the rehab process. Athletes will not only be doing physical therapy but will also maintain a high level of fitness and a performance mentality by working with elite In the Core trainers.
Functional Return to Sport Testing
We have designed evidence-based return to sport tests for both lower extremity and upper extremity injuries. Often times athletes are cleared to return to sport based on time alone, but the evidence suggests there is much more to it. ACL re-injury rates can be as high as 1 in 3 and evidence suggests if athletes do not pass a functional return to sport test they are at a 4x greater risk of re-injury. The test is individualized to each athlete and sport to make sure they are both physically and mentally ready.
Fee for Service
We charge a flat rate per visit rather than going through your insurance because it removes the common barriers of insurance. This allows us to come up with a treatment plan or wellness program that fits your needs.
*You can submit your receipt for skilled Physical Therapy services to your insurance company for reimbursement and use your HSA if your insurance allows.
