What people say
Bob Reeves
senior
I am 70 years old and I have been attending the Healthspan In The Core training for the past 9 weeks. I am amazed at how much better my body feels and at my increased stamina and strength and even my mental acuity! Before I started going to the training I wasn’t doing much, just walking the dog and chores around the house. I had pain in my lower back and neck and I lacked energy. Now, I feel great! Aaron and Ryan meticulously plan the week’s training and they seem to know exactly what my body needs. They work on your mind-body connection, balance, flexibility, strength and more. I look forward to each day and although it is a tough workout, I feel amazing the rest of the day. I highly recommend Train In The Core!

I have never considered myself an “athlete,” but In The Core has shown me I do have athletic tendencies. The trainers started at my fitness level and continually encouraged me to find the athlete within … which has given me excitement for fitness and losing weight … and at the same time has boosted my confidence as I see continual progress in my strength, endurance, mental focus, and overall ability. In The Core is the highlight of my week!

Good to know
Before you come
- Every class is mixed-level by design. The coach adjusts the load and the movement to the person.
- No experience needed. Plenty of people start here having done nothing for years.
- Form comes before load, always. It is why people who arrive with old injuries tend to leave moving better.
At the gym
- 5455 Spine Road, Suite F, Boulder. Free parking directly outside, no permit and no meter.
- One single-occupancy men’s bathroom and one women’s. No showers.
- Fifteen people to a class. If one is full, join the waitlist and you will be notified the moment a spot opens.
Your coach
Jack Defrancesco coaches every morning class.
Jack competed as a Division I pole vaulter at Chapel Hill. He worked hard and stayed committed, and still fell short of the athlete he knew he could be. What closed the gap was not more effort — it was the right system. That sent him deep into training science, nutrition, recovery and program design, and eventually into changing his major to Exercise and Sport Science and earning his NASM certification.
Because he runs all three classes, whichever one you pick you get the same coach — one who remembers what you lifted last week and what your knee was doing in March.
