About
Jack DeFrancesco
Jack attended Chapel Hill as a Division I pole vaulter. He worked hard and stayed committed, but struggled to become the athlete he knew he was capable of being. That gap led him to a simple but powerful realization: progress isn’t just about effort. It’s about having the right system. Driven to understand how the body truly adapts and performs, Jack immersed himself in training science, nutrition, recovery, and program design. He stopped following generic templates and started building something specific to his own needs. As those principles took shape, so did his performance, his confidence, and his overall health. What stayed with him wasn’t just the personal results, but the realization that intelligent, individualized training can unlock far more than most people imagine. That conviction led him to change his major to Exercise and Sport Science, graduate from UNC Chapel Hill, earn his NASM-CPT certification, and build a career around helping others discover what becomes possible when they unlock the system that is right for them.
Colorado brought Jack west, and the culture and philosophy at ITC felt like home — a place that values intentional coaching, consistency, and genuine care for the people it serves.
Outside of coaching, Jack enjoys exploring the mountains, reading a good book, and strength training.
